Cozy family cabin in mountain town-near beach

In the area you will find a total of 20 km of groomed ski slopes, and the trail network starts only 5 minutes walk from the cabin. The area is located 400–500 meters above sea level and is usually very snow-safe. For families with children and beginners there is a short and child-friendly trail that goes to Liløa. Here you will find barbecue and seating. In summer, it only takes 2 minutes by car to a great swimming area. Here you will find jetties, gapahuk, canoe, terrace with barbecue facilities and a sandy beach – perfect for both adults and children. Only two minutes by car you will find an idyllic swimming area with a floating jetty, canoe and sandy beach - perfect for morning swimming, children's play or quiet evenings by the water. In winter, we have increased expenses related to ice breaking, washing, firewood and electricity. This is taken into account in the prices, even if the period is not considered high season. Room description: The cabin is on one flat and contains hallway, one bathroom, kitchen, three bedrooms and a living room with exit to the porch. The kitchen is open to both the dining room and living room, where there is a fireplace that creates a warm atmosphere. The living room has high ceilings, which gives a spacious and airy feel. Here you can also find a smart TV with Chromecast. Bedrooms: • Bedroom 1: Double bed (180x200cm) from Signature Collection Sleeping (Bohus), with a top mattress. The bed has one down comforter (220x140cm) and one down comforter (200x140cm). • Bedroom 2: Bunk bed (75x200cmx2) Duvets: 200 x 140 cm • Bedroom 3: Double bed (120 x 200 cm) with good top mattress + single bed over (75 x 200 cm). Duvets: 200 x 140 cm • Rental prices are higher on weekends and holidays – see calendar. Guest access The entire cabin, except for one outdoor shed. Other things to note -There is no fence around the wall, not suitable for the smallest children in spring/summer. No challenge in winter because then there is a lot of snow. There is no crib or space for a travel cot in the bedrooms. The cabin is best suited for children who can sleep in the beds we have in the cabin. There is no possibility of charging an electric car, as the facility at the cabin is not made for it. But there are charging stations in Evje city center and in Hægeland. IMPORTANT! It can be challenging to get up the hill the last part in winter if you only have front wheel drive on the car, but they are usually good at plowing and gritting the hill up to the cabin area.
