Historic Ridenour Building (2 Bedrooms)

Located on the corner of East Pitt & Juliana Street, the Ridenour Building has housed numerous businesses since the 1800s. The 1st floor has established retail businesses, the 2nd floor has offices, and the 3rd floor has been recently renovated to provide up to 4 bedrooms for short-term visitors and is shared by a separate residence. Get the full experience of small-town Bedford! The space The Ridenour Building is a 15,000 sq ft building built in the late 1800s in downtown Bedford. Over the years it housed many businesses ranging from a bank, a meat market, a jewelry store, a dance studio, an insurance agency, and even the PA Railroad Telegraph Operators training school. Currently, Juli's Wearable Arts and Pinnacle Technologies Central are on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor has 10 offices with various tenants, a kitchenette, and two bathrooms. There is a beautiful atrium, in the center of the building's 2nd and 3rd floors. The air bnb is located on the 3rd floor and has a shared space consisting of 2 bathrooms, laundry room, kitchen, and dining room. There is also a separate residence located on the 3rd floor that has a Steelers bar, Owner's suite, Mulligans (golf) suite, Penguins suite, and Pirates suite. Guest access Guests will enter the red double doors on East Pitt Street between Juli's Wearable Arts and Pinnacle Technologies Central and proceed to the 3rd floor. They will have door codes to enter into their bedrooms and common access area. There is a back stair that access to Juliana Street. Currently this is for emergency exit use but will eventually have a chair lift for guests not able to easily enter via the front stairway. During your stay When available, the host will try to meet with the guest upon their arrival to ensure they are situated and familiar with the space. In case the host is not available, each room has instructions on what the bedrooms and common areas consist of along with any operating instructions. Other things to note This listing is for 2 bedrooms. We have listings for 1, 3, and 4 bedrooms. The entire building is a non-smoking area. We do not currently allow pets. When possible, we will try not to book multiple guests during the same timeframe however, during peak seasons such as the fall foliage festival, we reserve the right to do so.
