Description
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A delightful 15-minute ferry ride from Cullen Bay or an easy 1.5-hour drive from Darwin will take you to The Hideaway Bush Retreat. Nestled under a canopy of beautiful bush natives and frangipani trees, surrounded by native birds and wallabies, you will find the ultimate bush retreat. Take time to enjoy the quiet, use the binoculars to watch the birds, the yoga mats to wind down with Yin Yoga, the hammock to read a good book or float in the pool. The space The Hideaway has 3 connected buildings. The kitchen and sitting room are connected to the undercover breezeway which features a dining table and outdoor lounge suite. It then is connected via a hallway to air-conditioned bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has 2 singles. The sitting room has a futon which can be used as a double bed. Please note, there is NO TV. The Hideaway is a place to disconnect and relax. Should you want to watch TV, bring your device and connect to your phone internet. There is a speaker that can be connected to your phone and music 🎵 This is the perfect place for locals as a Staycation or for those driving through the NT, as you can't get further north than Wagait Beach! Guest access The Hideaway is situated in 4000 sqm, which is your own private getaway. The pool is completely private, as is every aspect of the property. House is accessed via a Keylock- combination provided 24 hours prior to check in. Other things to note The Hideaway is the perfect place to hideaway, getaway, disconnect and reconnect. The Hideaway is a peaceful retreat and therefore no Wi-Fi or TV. Should you need your fix, BYO your own device. The Hideaway is also somewhere where you can be at one with nature, if it tickles your fancy, you can swim a la natural, there is no one around to see you! This is a quintessential Northern Territory experience. You will see all types of wildlife. You may even find a frog in the loo (keep the lid closed and the bathroom door closed to keep them out!) or see little gecko's climbing the walls. Whilst floating in the pool at night you are likely to see Wallabies roaming the property, Bush Chooks scratching around, large Kangaroo's hopping by and our family of Curlews cooling down. If you are coming in from town via car, the last place you can buy alcohol is Berry Springs. The Wagait corner shop does not have a License to sell alcohol.
