Retro vacation home in the countryside

Do you like old plank floors and retro furniture? Do you prefer rustic old-school charm instead of modern glass boxes? With us you can experience a journey through time... Our house is from 1906 and still decorated as in the 60s/70s. Do you feel like taking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life? Our village is very quiet and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Here you can recharge your batteries in nature. You can also relax well in our large garden, by the campfire and in the sauna. The space For rent is almost the entire left half of our house with 3 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is (except for the bathroom) only partially renovated and lived in, with "rough edges" (see photos), but cleanly cleaned, well equipped and inexpensive. In the rooms you will find original floral wallpaper and furniture from the 60s/70s. There are 4 beds, additional mattresses are possible. Our large garden with hammocks, sunbeds, foosball and barbecue can be used. By arrangement and for a donation, the sauna and fire bowl can also be used. A base of spices & tea is available. For kids, we have a lot of toys and right next door there is a playground and sports field. There are additional toilets in the outbuilding. Our village is set amidst beautiful countryside surrounded by fields, forests, streams. You can observe animals, hike and cycle here. The Zuckerbahn bike path leads directly past Goldschau. Paddling is possible on the Saale, Unstrut or white Elster. There are also a few swimming lakes nearby. Guest access We rent almost the entire left half of the house (about 150 m²) to guests. The garden is shared. Other things to note A few more important details: Please bring your own bedding (blankets/sleeping bags, pillows, sheets) and towels. There are no curtains/roller blinds yet - so pack sleeping glasses if you like it dark. The fridge does not have a freezer. A blender, toaster and kettle are available. Candles are not allowed. And finally: we have traveled a lot ourselves and have been able to experience a lot of hospitality in different cultures.
