Cottage with boat, pier and sauna in Arvika

Welcome to Lyckänga and Värmland countryside. We rent out our small cottage, located on the plot next to our residential building. A beautiful place surrounded by forest and overlooking large meadows, pastures and a glittering lake. Lillstugan offers modern accommodation in inspiring surroundings. Hike, bike, barbecue and enjoy the sun on the patio, take a ride on the rowing boat, fish, sauna (35 Euro) and enjoy the outdoor shower. Here are many opportunities for wonderful moments! The space Our small cottage offers modern accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Arvika, a charming small town with restaurants and activities, is 5 km away. The accommodation is part of a seperate building on our plot, close to our residential building. The accommodation contains - a living room with open ridge with fully equipped kitchenette, dining area, sofa and armchairs and a cozy cast iron stove for cooler days. The sofa is a sofa bed that can be made into a 140 cm bed. In the kitchen there is a simpler basic selection with coffee, tea, spices, oil, etc. - a sleeping loft with 180 cm double bed. Bed linen is included and the bed is made when you arrive. - a bathroom with shower cubicle (installed 2021), toilet and sink. The bathroom provides towels, shampoo, soap and a range of other hygiene items. In the rest of the building there is a laundry room with a washing machine and freezer and a storage area where there is space to store, for example, bicycles you have brought with you. There are two older bikes to borrow if desired. On the plot there is a wood-fired sauna with large windows to the surroundings. This can be rented, €35, then we light it for you for a wonderful sauna session. In summer, there is an outdoor shower adjacent to the sauna, which guests have free access to. A path leads down to the water (about 100 meters), a pond with a simpler jetty and rowing boat. No problem to take a swim, but NO DIVING. Guests have free access to the rowing boat and there is also simpler fishing equipment to borrow. There are the occasional perch and pike to pull up if you are lucky :) Other; To keep in mind is that the accommodation is close to our own residential building. On the plot there is a hen house and a large kitchen garden. Lots of perennial beds, birdhouses and the front part of the plot, which is preserved as older meadow land, give a lovely atmosphere to the accommodation. The pastures around the plot are grazed by cows and in the surroundings there are also sheep. If you travel with children, there is a trampoline and playhouse, which is used by our own children but which can also be borrowed! We, Rickard and Lina and our three small children, have been Air Bnb hosts for almost five years and it is an experience that we appreciate very much. Meeting people from all over the world and having the opportunity to give them a great experience in Arvika is very fun. We decorate the little cottage with a little extra love and if desired, we are happy to suggest hiking, canoeing and cycling trails and other activities!
