The space Key features • Private hot tub: Relax in the hot tub while taking in the lake and mountain views. • Lake access (in summer season): Enjoy the dock for water activities or just to relax by the water. Note that access to the lake is across the main street (Route 347 at 70 km/h) and is accessible via stairs. • Comfort and warm atmosphere: The chalet is equipped with an oil fireplace (on the ground floor) for cozy evenings, perfect for the cooler seasons. Please note that only firelighter gel is allowed in the fireplace, which is provided for your stay. • Nature and tranquility: Far from the hustle and bustle, immerse yourself in a peaceful environment in the heart of the forest. • Remote Work Space: To combine work and relaxation, an office space has been set up on the veranda. Enjoy an ergonomic desk (sitting or standing) with stunning views of the lake. Two screens are available (connection via HDMI cable) to easily connect your laptop. Working has never been so pleasant! The teleworking space is located in a 3-season veranda. Important information: • Access to the chalet (winter season only) requires a 4x4 vehicle due to the slope of the private road leading to the property. • The workspace is located in a veranda that was originally designed as 3 seasons. Although insulation and supplementary heating have been carried out, the windows are several years old and let the cold in during the winter season. It is normal for this room to be difficult to heat during cold weather. Since Quebec winters can be mild or very cold, the temperature in the workspace may not be pleasant and prevent you from comfortably using the space during your stay. Tip: make an extra fire in the oil fireplace and leave the wooden door wide open to let the heat in. Other things to note * WINTER * The chalet is located on the side of the mountain and is accessible by a private road with a steep slope. In winter, conditions can make access difficult, especially in case of snow or ice. The use of a 4x4 vehicle is strongly recommended. Please note that the patio door leading to the hot tub can be difficult to open and sometimes requires some force. We recommend that you open it carefully and close it well after use. * SUMMER * Access to Lake Maskinongé (navigable with motor boats) directly from the cottage. Access is via a staircase located opposite, across the main street. *take note that the street is busy (70 km/h) Private dock with kayak, paddle board and pedal boat at your disposal.
