Stylish french country living with private pool

Etoiles de France Classement -- 3* (maximum available) since 3rd July 2025. Les Dames was built over 200 years ago by 2 sisters from Lyon who owned a large area of farming land there. Our family have had the delight of owning the house since 1993, and have spent many happy holidays here while we worked and lived in the Far East and Middle East. It has a very special atmosphere which has embraced all our collections of art and decorative accessories from our travels. The space Les Dames is a calm and peaceful old property on the outskirts of a village, with a wealth of unique characteristic detail. The bedrooms are very comfortable and full of colour, art and character for a special visit. The salon, verandah and dining room provide plenty of space for sharing fun together and enjoying special meals, although in the summer months lunches and dinners at the large outdoor table under the giant magnolia with a tranquil poolside glass of wine are by far the most unforgettable. During hot summer days the swimming pool offers the ideal place to cool down, and an expansive countryside garden provides ample opportunity for fun and games such as table tennis, Molkky (skittles), and a variety of ball games. Should there be wet days visitors can find a large selection of board games, hundreds of DVDs to play on the salon or verandah televisions (this tv also has Netflix, Prime, internet tv etc). Guest access Guests will be able to access all of the indoor and outdoor living spaces with the exception of some small spaces which store the family's items such as one small bedroom, the boiler room, some of the wardrobe spaces and a small store room off the utility room. Most of the outhouses are also locked with gardening equipment or storage, including the pool pump room. Other things to note The kitchen is very well equipped for all styles of cooking, and an outdoor barbecue provides well for summer cuisine.
