This converted B&B is on 3 acres in the woods viewing Norris Lake with 800 miles of shore in the Cumberland Mts of Tennessee. We offer a large bedroom with a king bed & sleeper. There's a private entrance opening onto the front porch and with a truly awesome full, new bathroom. We're off the beaten path (45 min from I-75), but if you delight in picturesque, mountain travel to rest & unwind, Dancing Dog is the place for you. You will not regret the travel here nor, we trust, your stay. The space The room offered is spacious with a private bath and private entrance if desired. Full kitchen access but please purchase food and needed items beforehand as the closest stores and restaurants are 12 curvy mountain miles away. We are pet friendly to well controlled dogs (or cats) and responsible pet owners. We welcome the companionship they offer, and look forward to meeting you and your lovely pets as we will be living in the house while you visit. An outdoor fire pit is ready for use or the indoor fire place is mostly always burning. We have a large front porch and a very large sitting/reading room and dining area in the downstairs portion. We offer reliable free WiFi and friendly conversation if you so desire it. Guest access The entire downstairs is open to guests and includes a full kitchen with refrigerator space, stove, oven, microwave and utensils. A large living room with tv and fireplace, large sitting room with fireplace, dining room and a kitchen bar for seating. A half bath is available for use in hallway. The room offered is also located on the same bottom floor. We, your hosts, will also be using the kitchen and downstairs living room during your stay. Ample parking on flat ground (that's a bonus in this mountain community) and plenty of hiking and room for dogs to run and explore. During your stay We leave this entirely up to our guests. We're very happy to assist and offer local information or spend hours locked in thrilling, delightful conversations. Other things to note Beautiful, unspoiled natural location. Chuck Swan Wildlife Management area encompasses 24,000 bordering Norris Lake with thick forest and fire trails throughout. This is a spacious, comfortable and relaxing home, but nothing fancy here.
