Room in Friendly House share 20 min to Liverpool!

Rose Villa is a warm and friendly communal living space with our house dog Pumpkin! As your live in host I’m available to help you as much as you like and create a great atmosphere for us to live together. Rose Villa is only 10 mins walk from Blundellsands train station which has trains running directly to Liverpool. There are cafes, pubs and shops 2mins away. The beach is 5 mins We welcome all guests including digital nomads, those studying English in the UK, travellers and everyone else! The space Rose Villa is a 3 floor traditional family home with several guest bedrooms available, all in the similar traditional yet comfortable and cosy style. Two guest rooms share one bathroom and there is another lavatory downstairs so there is never a queue for the loo! The large family bathroom does have a bath as well as a large walk in shower, this is available to use for all guests. We have a large newly renovated kitchen that has nearly every item of kitchen equipment you would want to cook with - from a pasta maker to an air fryer and a slow cooker! You will have your own space in the cupboard, a shelf in the fridge and access to oils, seasoning and spices for you to use as you like. The dining area is a great place to do some work or have a glass of wine whilst you cook. Many guests will practice English here and have a nice chat after their day. There is also a food store in this area you can use in your cooking if you’re making a meal for the house which is usually a weekly event. If you smoke then you will need to go outside where there is a yard and a seating area. In summer the bloom in the garden is really very beautiful and the patio is a sun trap. Last year we grew some tomatoes - this year we would love more veg so any keen growers please do book in! There is a utility room where guests can wash their clothes and we do have a heat pump drier that is an eco friendly low energy drying machine. We provide detergent if you require it. There is parking on the street and a spare space on the drive which is operated on a first come first served basis. There are cafes, pubs and shops 2mins away - check out College Road in Crosby to see all the local amenities. There are also local gyms, an award winning beach on a 15 minute walk away and plenty to do in the area as we even have a local independent cinema! During your stay If you need me I am on the ground floor of the property so please come to me and I can sort any niggles out for you. If I’m on holiday my next door neighbour who also takes guests is able to be the substitute Landlady! Other things to note We have a dog called Pumpkin who is a very loving and affectionate Dachshund girl! You must like dogs to enjoy your time here as she does wander about the house and chill out in the garden unsupervised. She is very friendly, does not bite and is not scary at all.
