Casa Calaicoi was built on stones 145 years ago and has been recently restored with great care so that it has all the comforts of a modern house in the countryside. It is located in Relás, a small and quiet village of Taboada, surrounded by fields and forests near to Ribeira Sacra. It is just 900 m from the town center, swimming pools (functional Jul-Aug) and tennis courts all year round. It is ideal to enjoy with family and friends! With 2 independent bedrooms & 1 extra bedroom in the loft. The space It is a very bright, well-equipped and comfortable stone cottage that is part of a larger former rural family house, which makes it very special and cozy. It has a large kitchen-living-dining room of 36m2 with a small work area, a full bathroom, two separate bedrooms, a loft with an extra large tatami-style bed, a terrace-corridor and a large patio with a shared porch equipped with BBQ, outdoor kitchen-dining room, playground and a bathroom. It also has high speed WIFI and underfloor heating and aerothermal. The house is located in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra of Lugo, in the center of Galicia and relatively close to Portugal. In Casa Calaicoi you can disconnect from your daily routine and the stress of work or traffic, pollution and gray asphalt of the cities. In our guest house you will be able to relax and placidly enjoy the little great things that this small, well located and quiet rural Galician village full of charm, clean and purifying air has to offer. From the house you can make small routes on foot, by bike or by car to explore incredible places and landscapes with history, gastronomy, oenology, as well as native landscapes, art and Roman and local architecture. Guest access The house has access and enjoyment of other common areas shared with the main house such as: a large patio, a well with spring water, and a covered porch that has a practical kitchen and outdoor dining area, a large well equipped barbecue design, an entertainment area with foosball, darts and trampoline, and a bathroom with shower under the stairs. Upon request, some bicycles and rackets can be provided. For an additional fee, a short visit to the family vineyard with small wine and local product tasting can also be arranged.
