Description
Ever wondered what it would be like to wake up in an old farmhouse and breathe in the crisp morning air as you walk outside to collect fresh eggs for breakfast? Now is your chance to find out! The Happy Hen Famhouse has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a fully-stocked kitchen. Outside enjoy sitting in the porch, relaxing in the hammock, playing lawn games, or making s’mores by the fire pit. Come enjoy a peaceful retreat while still being near shopping, wineries, farm markets, and restaurants! The space This lovely 3 bedroom, 2 full bath farmhouse is great for families, couples, and individuals who just need a place to get away for a while. Upstairs you will find the bedrooms and a full bathroom with a tub. We have books, toys, and games for kiddos. And downstairs you can enjoy the living and dining rooms (complete with a multi-game table), full kitchen, and another full bathroom. The best part of this property is the outdoor space. Visit the chickens and collect your own eggs in the morning, lay on the hammock in the afternoon, and then try your hand at axe throwing in the back yard (don’t worry, it’s plastic!). Eat dinner on the brand new back patio. Finish off the day by enjoying the expansive sunset view from the front porch. Guest access The whole house and 1 acre property is open to you, except for one small storage room. You will have privacy and not be bothered during your stay. Other things to note Please note there is no washer and dryer at the house (we decided to install an extensive water filtration system in that area instead, to make sure guests have the best possible water), but there are 2 laundromats nearby, located right by several cute shops on Main Street. Across from the house is a very large hay field. On the other side of that is the highway. The location is excellent for commuting and getting places quickly. Depending on humidity and wind, however, you may hear some traffic noise when you’re in front of the house. It’s usually very quiet inside, and on the back side of the house where the patio, back porch, and fire pit are.
