Then an open kitchen. please let us know if you need to cook, we make sure everything is set for you. Guest access the property is accessible from the seafront, 5min walk from the donkey sanctuary. Guests have access to the rooftop, perfect for relaxing, enjoying the sea breeze, or admiring Lamu Old Town’s stunning views. We can also arrange meals on the rooftop upon request . Ideal for a cozy dinner or small group meal. Please note we’re still working on our rooftop furniture, so dining setups must be arranged in advance. There’s no extra charge for using the rooftop , you only pay for the meals ordered. Meals are à la carte and paid in advance on request. Other things to note This is one of two identical apartments in a 2-storey building, with a shared rooftop. Our friendly caretaker lives on the ground floor. Like most coastal towns, Lamu has mosquitoes. We take multiple measures to keep them out, including weekly fumigation, spraying rooms before check-in, and using mosquito-repellent chips. We do not use mosquito nets as our rooms are designed with adequate ventilation, Ceiling fun, AC, and repellents, which keep them cool and comfortable without the enclosed feeling nets can create. If a single mosquito still find a way in, please let us know right away so we can take prompt action. We’re located in the heart of Lamu Old Town. the beach is acceessible by a pleasant 45 min walk, boat ride, or motorcycle(boda). We’re just second line from the seafront, and our rooftop offers panoramic views of the sea with passing boats, plus beautiful town views.
