Nestled on the hillside overlooking the charming village of Bonsall, this spacious, sunny cottage sleeps up to 5 people in 3 bedrooms, with a generous living area plus a sunny kitchen and conservatory. The cottage also offers a delightful enclosed garden with beautiful views. The space Westbury Cottage is the perfect spot for walkers, offering beautiful walks in every direction from the cottage door. There are also handy little footpaths from the cottage to the two pubs and the tearoom in the village. Cyclists will love the proximity to dedicated bike routes such as the Monsal, Tissington and High Peak trails. The property is a delightful stone-built cottage set into the hill, with beautiful views south across the valley. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 5 people; at the front is a king-size bedroom and a single, while at the back the super-king/twin room gives out onto a deck area and the beautiful cottage garden beyond. The family bathroom has a rain shower, wash basin and toilet. Downstairs there is ample room for everyone. The generous sitting and dining room is a lovely space to spend time with family and friends. At the back of the house is the large kitchen/breakfast room equipped with everything you could possibly need. There are also two sunny conservatories and a downstairs loo for convenience. To the front there is a parking space suitable for two small or one medium-sized cars. However, the entrance to the driveway is narrow and won’t be suitable for all vehicles. Alternative parking is available at the top of the lane near the bus stop or at the bottom of the hill by the Methodist church. Other things to note Please be aware the cottage is located on a steep, narrow hill and has steps inside and out.
