Juniper's Corner, Whyalla

Make beautiful Juniper's Corner your home away from home when staying in Whyalla. This comfortable 1960s brick semi detached is our family's holiday house on Eyre Peninsula. We are happy to make it available to you as you explore everything the area has to offer and hope you'll love it like we do! Bed linen, towels and basic non-perishable kitchen staples are provided. Bookings are calculated per person. The space The house retains its individual feel good character and all the quirks from the decade it was built in. Recent upgrades provide the comfort and leisure of present times. The property is situated on the edge of town, with Nicolson Ave providing fast and easy access into Whyalla’s center and Jenkins Ave connecting to the state roads leading out of town. Everything's a hop skip and jump from Juniper's Corner. 3 minutes to Westland Shopping Center with all the usual fast food joints. 8 minutes to the Skate Park in Wilson Park. 10 minutes to Whyalla Beach. 10 mins to Hummocks Hill Lookout. There is plenty of free parking available on the property and you will have the entire house to yourself. Lovely wooden floorboards throughout the house, a cosy living room with a sofa bed, plus three bedrooms (each with a double bed and wardrobe). Enjoy comfort all year round as the living and dining areas have a split system for cooling/heating; and the bedrooms all have ceiling fans and blinds. Bathroom with tub & shower. The toilet is separate adjoining the laundry, where you will find a dishwasher as well as a washing machine in case you may need to do your laundry. The kitchen is fully equipped and guests are welcome to help themselves to any basic staples such as salt & pepper, oil, tea & sugar etc. Please not however that we do not provide perishables such as bread, fruit or milk. The backyard / garden is fully fenced and secure, however please note that this area is not yet landscaped and there are weeds with thorns and prickles that are very painful when stepped on with bare feet. The roofed patio has a couple of chairs and a coffee table, and there's bedding and bowls if you are travelling with your dog(s). The property is connected to Wifi and the Smart TV has a guest Netflix channel. Guest access You will have the whole house to yourself. It's self check in and check out; however if you need anything or require help, I will send our local cleaner to assist you. The keys to the front door are in a key lockbox, the code to which you will receive before arrival. Other things to note BOOKING: Please note it is important you have booked for the exact number of people and pets staying. This is crucial not only for insurance policies but also because we charge per individual rather than for the whole space. Our base price per day is for 2 persons and every additional person incurs a $30 surcharge. This enables us to keep the nightly price down, to break even after cleaning and running costs, and ultimately to keep Juniper's Corner open for travellers. We understand that plans sometimes change last minute, so please don't hesitate to message us any time and we will change your booking to accomodate more people if necessary. Please note however that our cancellation policy is set to 'moderate', which means that we cannot reimburse for non attending persons after the cancellation deadline. The house is for accomodation purposes only and available only to the booked guests. It is not to be used as a hosting venue for family gatherings, parties and similar. Please don’t hesitate to make contact and talk to us if there are special circumstances to consider, we're flexible and understanding :-) Please note that the house is not child safe. Wardrobes, cupboards and shelves are not secured to the walls, nor is the TV screen. If you are a family with young children or toddlers, you're most welcome to stay but it's your own responsibility to make sure your kids don't get hurt. Our direct neighbour Adele is a wonderful person and deserves to enjoy her home in peace. Please make sure your stay keeps within an acceptable noise level. No smoking anywhere on the property please, thank you.
