Nestled in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, this home is the perfect getaway for those looking for a peaceful weekend away. Only 10 miles away from Saranac Lake, the capital of the Adirondacks, this space lets you escape into the woods, while having the bustle of "town" right around the corner. A quick 10 minute drive to local bars, restaurants, shopping, boat rentals, lake views, farmers markets, hiking and more! 20 minutes away from the famous Olympic Village of Lake Placid, NY! The space My space is a whole 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house! You will have the luxury of your own space and parking lot. There is there is enough space for at least 3 cars to park easily, and more if you park behind other cars. My home is fully stocked including bedding, towels, toilet paper, WiFi, Roku, washer and dryer, laundry detergent, dryer sheets and a Keurig! Guest access In the winter months, you will enter the house through the basement entrance. There is no stairs to get into the basement. Once you arrive in the basement, you will async a whole flight of stairs that will bring you up into the house and into the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with a full sized fridge and freezer, dish washer, oven/stove, microwave, dishes, glasses, pots &pans, silverware, Keurig and a toaster. A washer and dryer is located in the basement for you to use during the duration of your stay. Complimentary detergent and dryer sheets will be provided. From the kitchen, you will walk into the living room or the dining room. This space is perfect for relaxing after a long hike or enjoying quality time with family. Complete with a full sized, three seat sofa and a very comfortable armchair. There is a generous sized smart TV to enjoy streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Disney+, ext. There is also a desk area in the living room for any "work from home" that needs to be done. The desk is located in the same room as the Wifi router to ensure speedy wifi services. The dining room is attached to the kitchen and has a full sized table with 6 full sizes chairs. There is also a dehumidifier, please leave that on to eliminate moisture on the windows. There are three bedrooms in my home. The master bedroom has one queen sized bed, a large closet to store clothes, and lots of space to store luggage. The closet is equipped with hangers for your convenience. There is also a smart TV and chair for convenience. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and closet space. The third bedroom has a twin over twin bunk bed. There is one bathroom in the home. It has a tub/shower combo, a toilet and a vanity sink with storage underneath. There will be toilet paper and plenty of towels provided for your stay and ease. Please be aware that this apartment would not be easily handicap accessible. As you would have to send many stairs to get to the main floor from the basement entrance or stairs onto the front deck to reach the main floor.
