Guests are provided with linens and towels, heat and air conditioning, propane grill, cookware, a cooler, outdoor shower & toilet, queen bed, futon couch, and DVD projector. The space *** Due to current seasonal temps below freezing guests will be required to contact hosts for instructions on water shut off/on****Don't forget that this experience is still fundamentally camping. Therefore, we do ask guests to properly secure food and waste items from wildlife that are very active throughout the area. It is rare that any of our wild friends care to interact with humans, but it's better to be safe. 4x4 or AWD vehicles are recommended for parking close to the camp site due to loose gravel and a grade, but alternative parking spots are available. The campsite is typically open year-round, but weather conditions are subject to requiring the water be shut off to the sink, shower, and toilet. This is only during winter months when temperatures are likely to cause our water lines to freeze and potentially burst. Water is still accessible at the campsite via a hydrant. There are two log cabins nearby, Guests are welcome to explore the property, but we ask all guests to be respectful of each other. Pets must be leashed when outside. This is for their safety, the safety of the wildlife, and that of other guest's pets. We do not live on-site but we are able to respond to messages or requests fairly quickly. Please reach out to us for any reason if necessary. Guest access Guests have access to camp site and common area (parking/trash bins) on right side of bridge upon entering property. Property across the bridge has different owner. Other things to note **PLEASE NOTE** Although this is “fancier” camping- this is still very much camping, outdoors, surrounded by woods and wildlife- which means occasionally there may be bugs in/around the tent, especially during the fall in stink bugs season. We spray, and provide repellent, vacuum, broom, and bug vacuum but likely some will still get in. IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED FOR THIS PLEASE BOOK ELSEWHERE INDOORS. This is not to be rude, but receiving low ratings for something naturally occurring in outdoor spaces and experiences is very damaging to our reviews, which in turn damages our business and finances needed to continue to manage the property and any necessary updates or maintenance. Thank you. Additionally, Security cameras are affixed to our nearby storage unit which covers the parking area of the campsite, storage unit, and entrance to the glamping site. This is for safety and security purposes only. Absolutely no cameras are inside the campsite or any private areas. Ceiling Fan on deck doesn’t work as prior guest lost the remote, we will be adding stand up oscillating fans soon. Charcoal is NOT provided, and currently firewood is not provided as we are working on locating a new supplier.
