Built in 1948, these charming cabins have been lovingly preserved to maintain their unique heritage while offering guests a relaxing and memorable stay in one of the most picturesque regions of the North Shore. Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or a week of adventure, we hope you find the same magic that we feel every day in this remarkable place. - 5 minutes from Grand Marais - Located mid-Croftville Rd, the historic "walking road" with views of Lake Superior at every turn - Cozy cabin with original wide-plank flooring and modern charming heating stove - Vintage books & games Guest access Enjoy the cabin, bonfire, private outdoor sauna, and the “walking road” during your stay! Please note: there is no direct lake access at this cabin, but you’ll see and hear Lake Superior all around you along Croftville Road! Other things to note - Please review our house rules - Please respect quiet hours and our other guests' privacy. - The North Shore is full of wildlife and bugs. Please be respectful of the animals you may see on the property. Spring and summer are heavy bug seasons, and you will likely have to deal with mosquitos, occasional spiders, and cluster flies. We do what we can to minimize flies around the building during fly season, but some years are worse than others, and they may come regardless of our efforts. -Please note: this cabin does not have an oven or range, so a 2 burner cooktop and an air fryer are provided to supplement for your cooking needs.
