Come stay under the stars in our lovely shepherds hut. Leave mod cons behind, time to relax, get back to basics with our off grid hut powered by solar panel & wind turbine. Chilly nights cosy by the wood burner.Enjoy the sensory garden where you will find an abundance of seasonal fruits to forage, hedge row with blackberries & nuts. Quirky seating with clear roof enjoying a glass of wine under the stars. Muddy toe bath for squelching & sensory path. Be a farmer! Care for Pygmy goats & hens. The space Open plan kitchen dinning area and bedroom. Shower room is separate. The shepherds hut is heated by a wood burner. The hut is situated in a field which is not easily accessible for wheel chair users. There are steps up to the shepherds hut. No driving to the hut, car must be left in parking area. Children and adults can enjoy the sensory garden, sensory path, willow covered muddy toes area, shower to wash feet before entering the shepherds hut. Enjoy foraging in the hedge rows, sampling fruits and veg from the site. Please only take what you can eat, other guests will love to sample some too. Guest access The shepherds hut is situated in Dahn’s Acre, the sensory garden is open to all visitors. If purchasing the Farmer experience you will have Acess to the small animal area which will have Pygmy goats & chickens. You will be feeding the animals and collecting eggs which you can enjoy. Instructions will be given on the care of the animals. Other things to note The shepherds hut is solar powered, IT WILL NOT run any additional electronics.
