Welcome to our light and airy annexe - fully self contained, and only a 15 minute drive (or train ride) from Oxford city centre. Located at the end of a quiet lane, on the outskirts of the historic riverside market town of Abingdon. Split over two floors; the ground floor housing a kitchen, breakfast bar and living space, and on the first floor a large bedroom with seating area, and a separate bathroom. We also have driveway parking available for one car. The space The riverside market town of Abingdon is also only a short drive from the Chiltern Hills (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). The annexe is the perfect getaway to combine exploring the historic city of Oxford and the beautiful countryside that surrounds it. Ground floor - Open plan kitchen area with modern appliances - Breakfast bar to seat two people - Living space with comfy sofa and smart TV First floor - Large bedroom with double bed, sofa, bedsides, and wardrobe space - Opening velux windows to the rear, and large dormer to the front - Large bathroom with bath, separate shower, sink and WC Outside - Viewing over playing fields and farmland to the rear. (Distant noise from the playing fields can be heard occasionally on Saturday and Sunday mornings) - Driveway parking for one car - Please note, there is unfortunately no outdoor space available for guest use Appliances - Large smart TV in living area - TV in bedroom - Free Wi-Fi throughout - Fridge/freezer - Coffee machine (Nespresso Krups pods) - Hob - Extractor - Oven - Microwave - Toaster - Kettle - Washing machine/tumble dryer The annexe adjoins our home. You will have uninterrupted use of the annexe itself during your stay, however, please be aware that the driveway and external (side) door are shared. You may see us from time to time. I have help managing my property, with a professional co-host of Airbnb. My house is professionally cleaned, the linen and towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. We offer a remote self check-in facility to give you flexibility if arriving late, and 24/7 guest support is on hand should you need any assistance during your stay. Guest access The property is setup to offer remote access with easy self check-in, and no direct contact with anyone is required. We offer 24/7 guest support should you need any support or assistance during your check-in or stay. Other things to note The annexe itself is connected to the main house. The external (side) door, access and driveway are all shared spaces. Sleeps - 2 Beds - 1 x double bed Bed linen - High quality bed linen, including towels are supplied - Mid-stay cleaning and linen changes can be organised on request for an additional charge, and are required for stays longer than 14 days Toiletries and Consumables - We provide refillable bathroom toiletries (refilled by our cleaners on each changeover). This helps us reduce waste and minimise our impact on the environment. However, this only works if you don’t ‘borrow’ them. Please leave them behind so other guests can enjoy them too. - We also provide a washing-up pack, washing machine tablets, toilet roll and kitchen roll. If more is needed there are several supermarkets close by Pets - Unfortunately we do not accept pets of any kind at this property - Sorry Coffee Machine - Nespresso Krups Restricted areas - The house itself does not form part of the listing, and is therefore restricted from guest access Child Friendly - This is a child friendly property, but we would suggest only for infants in a travel cot. We are unable to provide a travel cot or highchair, but you are welcome to bring your own Address - The full address will be provided prior to your check-in, together with remote access details. Guest Notices - Parties are strictly prohibited - Smoking is strictly prohibited, that includes the outside the property/anywhere on the premises - Extra guests are not allowed - Please respect our lovely neighbours, and keep the noise down - No shoes on inside please - Candle are strictly prohibited - This is your home away from home, please care for it as such - Please make sure to lock the doors and all the windows when leaving the property - Please be mindful of energy usage during your stay. Please switch off lights and turn down the heating when leaving the property CHECK IN / CHECK OUT Check-in time is after 4pm, and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time, as this will cause disruption to the cleaner's schedule. My property management team will be available 24/7 via Airbnb, email, or phone to provide any assistance my guests may need.
