Moorlands Cottage is tucked on the side of a beautiful valley that dips down through ten acres to a stunning moorland lake, bordered by the River Taw and set within Dartmoor National Park in the very heart of Devon. This is wonderful walking country amongst some of the grandest tors on Dartmoor where High Willhays (the highest point in southern England) can be reached in a morning's walk from the front door. Outside: A cobbled courtyard immediately outside the cottage has garden furniture and extends out to a small fenced garden leading to ten acres of private moorland that descend down to the river and lake. The 10 acres of grounds (occasionally shared by the owners) are a wildlife haven and are available for visitors to explore and enjoy. Parking: Space for two cars alongside the cottage.
