Fold out full size bed available. The space The Valley Lodge is a remodeled circa 1863 Boarding House/Hotel. Your proprietor is a Tularosa native born, archeologist. Joe Ben excavated the property and you will find artifacts he found under the floors. Be sure to ask about our hiking tours of Three Rivers, The Historical District of Tularosa and The Tularosa Basin. After sharing a full breakfast, don't leave the Valley Lodge without visiting our new Bookstore of local history and southwestern fiction. The Valley Lodge is a very beautiful and elegant lodging with new hard wood floors and traditional Viga ceilings for you to enjoy. Hope to see you soon. Guest access Parking is on the property and guests enter through the courtyard of the lodge and have limited access as Joe Ben lives on site. During your stay Joe Ben Sanders lives on site. Other things to note The Village of Tularosa has a friendly, small, hometown atmosphere. Many of the residents of Tularosa are descendants which date back to the original early settlers from 1860s. The Village of Tularosa is centered in the homelands of the Mescalero Apache Tribe.
