The Studio

This beautifully converted garage has been turned into a cosy get away accommodation, where you can relax and have the opportunity to explore the close-by beaches and attractions. Your furry friend is welcomed too. As you might be aware New Romney is situated in the Romney Marsh, which is home to the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, a world famous one-third full size steam & diesel locomotives pulling passenger carriages, provides you with an opportunity to explore this unique corner of Kent. The space The Studio consists of a fully equipped kitchen with an electric hob & oven. There is high raised dining table with comfortable swivel bar stools, where you can enjoy your meals and sip your hot beverages from the Dolce Gusto Mini Me pod machine. The air-conditioned living / bedroom area has a very comfortable sofa, which turns into a king-sized bed, where you can relax and enjoy watching your favourite TV shows on a Smart TV or use your mobile / tablet via high-speed WI-FI. The bathroom has a spacious shower, toilet and a small washbasin. There are wardrobes for your clothes and due to the studio’s compact design an outside weatherproof lockable storage box for your suitcases. Courtyard: You can enjoy your morning coffee/tea or your afternoon beverage outside in the fully enclosed quaint courtyard. The courtyard has lights strung across, creating an enchanting place for evening drinks. There is retractable clothesline available for guests to use. There is an herb garden just outside of the courtyard, which guests are more than welcome to pick from, depending on the season. Guest access You can access the Studio through the shared driveway as we live on the property, but the Studio has its own separate courtyard and entrance. Off road parking is available for one car, up to 5.5 metres. For longer vehicle or for motorcycles alternative parking can be arranged on the premises. The Studio is a standalone building, with access via a key safe next to the main door. Details will be provided 24hrs before arrival. Other things to note Check In: 12:00 Noon Check Out: 12:00 Noon No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the Studio. The sofa bed can either be left as sofa or made down into a bed before your arrival upon your request. Tutorial will be provided in the Welcome information pack for converting the sofa into a bed. We welcome well behaved dogs, but due to the layout and space available in the Studio we recommend only one medium size dog to accompany our guests, but this can be discussed upon request. As we live on the property with our family dog, we kindly ask that you keep all gates closed at all times. We politely ask that you limit outside noise and music after 9.30pm for our neighbours. Due to it being a cosy Studio, it can only accommodate 2 adults or 1 adult & 1 child over the age of 4, as the accommodation is not baby or toddler proofed. There are public EV charging points with in 5 minutes' walk of the Studio. Unfortunately, we're not able to accept bookings for hen or stag parties.
