Self contained guest suite ideal for a 1 or 2 night stopover, or a few days exploring Nelson. Easy access to all that Nelson city has to offer-walking, running & mountain bike tracks; beaches & rivers, cafes, breweries & restaurants; sculpture walks, art galleries & cinemas; disc golf & skate parks; Trafalgar Park & shopping. All in easy reach. Our 1924 bungalow has been renovated to incorporate a spacious guest suite with private access, lounge area & full private bathroom with walkin shower. The space The main room is open plan with dining table and chairs, kitchenette facilities ideal for breakfast or heating foods (bench height refrigerator with small freezer compartment, microwave and toaster, tea and coffee making, crockery, cutlery, etc), couch, smart TV, bedside tables & lamps, and a new comfortable queen sized bed. There’s also a cooling fan for summer, and heater if it gets chilly. Off this room is a smaller space containing a free standing storage/clothes rack. This leads into the full sized private bathroom with walk-in shower, bath, basin, toilet, extractor fan, heater and heated towel rail. We’ve provided supplies (enough for a few days) for a continental breakfast - a range of cereals, milk, yogurt and fruit, teas, and coffee. We’re centrally located - cafes, restaurants and supermarkets are an easy walk, or quick drive, away. There are toiletries and bathrobes. All linen is supplied, there are extra pillows and a spare blanket. Additional bath towels, and beach towels, are available on request. A couple of laundromats are not far away - complimentary laundry powder is available - and there is a drying rack in the room. There’s a small deck and paved area at door of the unit, with seating, where you can enjoy the afternoon sun. Windows, and the door, are double glazed. In the living area there’s a privacy blind and sheers, and full length thermo drapes with black-out linings. We are able to provide covered bike storage where your bikes can be secured - please ask us if you’d like this facility made available to you. Guest access The guest suite is enitirely self contained with external access. There is a locked door between your suite and the main house. There are 3 steps up to the small deck and the exterior door. The digital lock allows for self check-in and key-free entry. Other things to note Two guests maximum, including children and infants, unless by arrangement. If there are more than two of you - we may be able to help - please check with us.
