Nathalie welcomes you all year round to the rural gite "La Vigne au Poney", a gite labeled 2 keys for 4/5 people in Villers-en-Argonne. The space Located in the heart of the village, the rural gîte is on the same estate as the equestrian center and the stopover gîte, ideal for families, for young and old alike! They will therefore be able to take advantage of the educational farm and the pony club where children can join groups. A green destination, the Argonne is largely wooded, the perfect playground for nature sports enthusiasts or to disconnect during your stay. You will benefit from a private outdoor space with garden, barbecue, garden furniture. GROUND FLOOR : The cottage is equipped with a 16m² kitchen with fridge and freezer, gas cooker (4 burners), oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, washing machine . Educational farm & pony club On site, discover an educational farm with over 100 animals (ponies, llamas, chickens, bees...) and take part in the care or feeding. Supervised by qualified instructors, it's perfect for children aged 3 and over. You can also go for a walk or horse ride in the Argonne forest, observing footprints and discovering nature. Gîtes and group accommodation available on site with large rooms and fireplaces, ideal for seminars or nature breaks. 2. Nature walks and hikes Several walking and mountain bike trails around the village, to discover the rolling countryside, forests, and remarkable trees (e.g. Louis XIV oak). Itineraries in the surrounding area, managed by the Tourist Office, are a must for Champagne hiking enthusiasts. 3. Castle and local heritage In Villers, the château and its private grounds are open by appointment for a historical tour, including remarkable trees and anecdotes about the founding family. Hunting lodge and various noble features of the estate located near the village. 4. Canoeing at Sainte-Menehould (~15 km) Canoe or pedalo trip down the Aisne: 2.4 km, ideal for discovering the town in a different way, admiring the river architecture, washhouses and local wildlife. The "Aquarelle" centre also offers swimming, aquagym, sauna, hammam and jacuzzi - perfect for a moment of relaxation after your walks. 5. Gastronomy & regional specialities In Sainte-Menehould, try the famous recipe for pig's trotters à la Sainte-Menehould, particularly at the historic restaurant Le Cheval Rouge (founded in 1892). Every 8 May, a fair celebrates this speciality, with tastings of hundreds of pigs' feet prepared by hand.
