Woodborough Woodland hideaway & a sea view

Nestled in the woods between Porlock Weir and Porlock this is a spacious retreat for people needing to ‘switch off’. The property offers stylish, minimal and comfortable accommodation with wonderful sea views from the house & garden. Porlock Weir is a 15 min walk where a local pub, restaurants and cafes can be enjoyed Between Woodborough and the Weir is Exmoor Adventures Where equipment for many activities is available- from body boarding to kayaking to mountain biking. 5 mins to Porlock. The space There are a total of four bedrooms. We have a king bed in the ground floor bedroom, one double and two king bedrooms upstairs. Parking There is ample parking at the house, our private drive is ideal for up to 3 cars to park. Bathrooms and wc There is a wc and a full shower room on ground floor. A wc and half shower room on the first floor. Hot Tub The hot tub is available freely for use from April to October. From November to March, the hot tub is winterised due to infrequent use during these months. If you wish to use the hot tub during this period, there is an additional charge of £100. Please let us know in advance ahead of your stay so we can make the arrangements. Guest access Garden & Outdoor Space Woodborough is situated on a substantial plot of land full of forest trails for you to explore. However, the area to the left of the house (whilst facing the front) is currently under maintenance and is not accessible to guests. Other things to note Please note that our home is situated in a peaceful, remote area surrounded by nature. The property includes a lovely woodland garden, offering a quiet and secluded atmosphere perfect for relaxation. While the setting is serene and away from the hustle and bustle, it also means that access might require a bit of extra planning—especially arriving after dark. Please take care when exploring the garden and forest trails, and do not leave children unattended. Please note that we might have fallen trees in the woodland garden so please be careful when you explore. We encourage guests to enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility this unique location provides.
