Accessible from Twin Palm or Great East Road. Close to the airport. The space Our house is surrounded by luscious gardens, a beautiful pool and plenty of wild birds. In addition, it has all the modern conveniences you need - a 24/7 solar system that power all essentials (including fridges, lights, TV, sockets, microwave, water dispenser), 24/7 water from the on-site borehole and appliances such as laundry machine, dishwasher, iron, kettle and more. The house meets diplomatic security standards with a tall wallfence, electric fence, alarms, panic buttons and rapid response. The kitchen: The inside kitchen has plenty of space for cooking and is suitable for both short and long-term stays. It is fully equipped and has a large standing fridge, large standing freezer, dispenser with drinking water and microwave - all ran by solar power. There is an electric fan oven (great for baking) and a ceramic hob, with extractor fan above. There is also a dishwasher that runs on zesco mains power. Outside the kitchen, there is an outdoor kitchen where you have a gas stove and gas oven for use when zesco is unreliable. There is also an LG laundry machine, a sink and more counter space for pre-cooking prep. There is a kitchen table with a few chairs that can be used for quick meals or to expand the dining room table for large groups. The dining room: This is a large, sunlit room with French doors leading onto the roofed/shaded verandah area. There is a sizeable dining table that can easily seat a large group. The living room: Here you find comfy sofas with pillows, blankets and a coffee table with space for board games. There is Starlink internet that provides 24/7 wifi and also a BritZam decoder for access to a vast array of tv channels and films (All British channels + more). Middle bathroom: The middle bathroom has a shower, two basins, a bath tub and a toilet. The bath tub is perfect for soaking away the stress and dust after a long day out and about. Master bedroom: The master bedroom is large, bright and has a ton of wardrobe space, including a shoe cabinet. It has a queen bed with a semi-firm orthopedic mattress with extra length (152cm x 200cm) , a tailor made king size mosquito net and pretty floral curtains + voil on all windows. There is plenty space to add a cot bed for a baby in this room, just let us know at the time of booking if you need one set up. There is also an ikea chair that pulls out into a guest bed and works well for a child, if needed. This room has an aircon that works on zesco main power. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. En-suite master bathroom: This is a large, lovely bathroom which has a huge, accessible shower, basin, toilet and a corner bath tub. Accessed from the master bedroom. The pink room: The pink room has a double bed (150cm x 200cm) with a soft spring mattress, tailor made mosquito net, plenty wardrobe space, a work station and a smal sofa. It comfortably sleeps 2. A single guest bed can be added if needed. The blue room: The blue room has a single ikea bed (90cm x 200cm) with a tailor made mosquito net mounted above. The ikea bed has a guest bed below that can be pulled out for two people to share the room (also 90cm x 200cm). The room faces the garden , has curtains , wardobe space, a desk and a book shelf with a few toys and books. The verandah: The verandah is a lovely place to sit in the cane sofas and overlook the pool and garden area. It has a waterproof roof as well as a timber ceiling to provide shade. The en-suite guest wing: The guest wing is a large en-suite room that is part of the house, but accessed from the dining room/verandah area. It has a large double bed (160cm x 200cm) and a pull out ikea bed that can be either a single or a double bed (80cm x 200cm or 160cm x 200cm). This is perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. In addition it has a sofa area, a wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, basin and bath tub with handheld shower. The pool: There is a 6m x 13 meter pool for your use which is right in front of the house. The gazebo: By the pool there is a thatched gazebo which is perfect for hot summer days when you want to sit in the shade. It has some chairs in addition to a large dining table with chairs. The greenhouse: Close to the gazebo there is a greenhouse where you might be lucky to find some herbs or local veggies growing. There are also a number of fruit trees scattered around the property with various seasonal fruits (Mango, avocado, oranges, lemon, figs, granadilla, bananas etc.) Guest access Main house, verandah, garden, pool area , farm fields, parking area. Other things to note The property has 24/7 security provided by dachshunds Ella & Louis who live outside (they do not enter the house) and keep guard at night so that you can relax. They are very cute dogs and love new friends and cuddles.
