One can immerse oneself in tranquil silence, savouring the crisp mountain air, the gentle patter of occasional rain, and the radiant warmth of the sun’s golden rays. The space ‘Vishuddha’, meaning ‘pure’, signifies the purification of thoughts and words, emphasising communication and self-expression. Named after the throat chakra, our homestay offers an ideal retreat to explore clarity and tranquility in the serene embrace of the Himalayas Majkhali , a quaint small town located 10 km from Ranikhet , is known for its natural beauty, snow-capped Himalayan mountain views, forests, serene villages, and old local markets. Apart from panoramic views, Majkhali offers numerous walking trails, treks, hikes, village walks, local markets, small restaurants, and cafes – a perfect treat for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful vacation away from busy city life. Guest access Lower Level: The main entrance into the cozy living room. One bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Kitchen with private dining area. Upper Level: Two Bedrooms with en-suite bathroom. Two balconies with views overlooking the valley and mountains Entire house including bedrooms, living room, dinning space, terrace and garden is accessible to the guest if entire chalet is booked. Garden, stairs , pathways, parking etc. are shared by the guests of the chalet also. Each Chalet is complete in itself. There is an external shared kitchen where food is cooked and served to each chalet by our cook/caretaker. Other things to note PARKING : Vehicles can drive directly to the property for convenient access. We provide 3-4 parking spaces at the designated area for your convenience. DRIVER ACCOMMODATION : We offer accommodation for drivers within the property. Both lodging and meals can be arranged at a nominal charge. LAUNDRY SERVICE : There is no washing machine available on the property. However, a laundry service is available nearby for a fee. WATER CONSERVATION : Water is a precious resource in the hills, and we kindly request our guests on holiday to use it wisely. As there is no government-supplied water to the area, we purchase water for daily consumption. While we ensure an adequate supply for a comfortable stay, we ask for your understanding and cooperation in avoiding unnecessary wastage. KITCHEN USE : We have a designated common kitchen for meal preparation. Our caretaker/ cook will be happy to prepare and serve meals at the cottage during specified hours, so there is no need to use the kitchen in the cottage. Guest can enjoy their holiday at peace. SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited inside the house. However, designated outdoor areas are available for smoking.
