Description
In a life that can feel too full, PERCHcreekside is a place of retreat. Slow down immersed in the quiet bushland nestled by the creek. At the end of a long driveway passing by stretches of native grasses, sits PERCHcreekside on the elevated corner of the block. Understated on the outside. Intimate and comfortably styled inside. Walk through the French doors into a relaxed space, where considered design and thoughtful touches bring ease and calmness. The space The main bedroom provides a queen bed made up with linen bedding for a restorative and lux night of sleep. With the birds from in and around the creek signalling a new day, rise to make a cup of coffee with Allpress beans and return to the deep armchair to sip coffee and read. Select one of the many books from the well-stocked bookshelf to enjoy during your stay. If travelling with friends, the second bedroom provides a queen size bed. At the centre of the home is a practical kitchen, that is easy and enjoyable to cook in. A market bag hangs on the hook to be filled while exploring the region’s wineries, markets and food stores. Returning to the house, make the most of the good knives, cookbooks, and pantry staples (including oil, vinegar, herbs and spices) to prepare a dinner celebrating the region’s produce. The cosy couch or one of the leather arm chairs in front of the fire place provide a space to relax throughout your stay. PERCHcreekside is in Central Victoria located just 10 minutes from the town of Heathcote. Explore the region’s wineries, pop into the close-by towns of Kyneton or Lancefield, or walk in one of the region’s parks. Or if seeking a slow weekend, retreat to PERCHcreek and feel the calmness envelope you. Guest access PERCHcreekside is yours to enjoy during your stay. You are free to wander the 20 acre property and walk along the fenceline at the creek, but please respect the property’s boundaries and our neighbours. Please keep in mind that the house sits at the end of an uneven driveway. There is one step up onto the verandah and into the house. Native wildlife, including kangaroos, lives beside the creek and on the property. Please leave your dog with family or friends when visiting. Other things to note While the second bed may look comfy, the second bedroom is only for use if a booking for 3 or 4 people is made, or if there is a prior request.
