The Casa Belvedere is one of the 4 houses of Borgo Montecastelli, and is located right on the border between the provinces of Siena and Florence. Due to its strategic position, straddling two valleys, Borgo Montecastelli enjoys a magnificent panorama from its summit towards the villages that surround it: Panzano, Radda in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, as well as farmhouses, churches, and towers. Powerful Internet connection, tested for those who want to work remotely The space The house has a private courtyard offering fantastic views of the valley. Casa Belvedere can accommodate up to 10 people. The house is furnished with original 19th- and early 20th-century prints, paintings, and furniture to preserve the charm of rural culture and highlight the important history of this area. The large vaulted entrance hall, once used as stables and shelter for animals, leads to a large and cosy living room where you can also eat. Also on the ground floor, there is a large double suite with a fireplace and a sitting room furnished with original early-20th-century furniture. Next to the bedroom, there is a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. On the first floor, you will find a living room, kitchen/dining room featuring a large country fireplace, a double bedroom and an additional bedroom with two single beds, as well as a bathroom with a spectacular view of the valley. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, the old attic, where there is an antechamber lounge with two single sofa beds and a large double bedroom with a small private bathroom. There is air conditioning in the attic rooms (2 rooms) and ceiling fans in all the rooms on the first floor (2 rooms). There is no air conditioning in the ground-floor room, but it is the coolest and has pedestal fans. Leaving the house and walking downhill, you will find the path that leads to the swimming pool among the olive trees. Powerful Internet connection, tested for those who wish to work remotely (conference calls, emails, streaming, etc.). Other things to note At check-out, a tourist tax of 2 € per day per person from 14 years of age will be payable. The city tax is calculated on a maximum of 7 nights. Heating is not included in the price. If you wish to activate it, the cost is 3€ per cubic metre, payable at check-out. The consumption will be calculated by taking a photo of the meter before and after your stay. Air conditioning is only available in the attic rooms (2 rooms). The other rooms have fans.
