Look forward to a quiet location away from noise and hustle and bustle in the idyllic countryside near Lake Diemelsee. Surrounded by forests and meadows, the beautiful wooden house offers you a homely atmosphere in a compact space. Unwind from everyday life and relax with a steaming coffee in the beautiful conservatory overlooking the countryside. Due to the complete glazing of the cold winter garden, you are practically sitting in the garden and can enjoy the view. An infrared heater provides warmth even in slightly cooler temperatures. Explore the surroundings by foot or by bike. The S2 hiking trail runs right in front of our front door. After a few kilometers you will reach Lake Diemelsee, where in summer you will find idyllic places at several popular beach resorts where you can sunbathe and swim. A small indoor swimming pool with sauna is also located at Lake Diemelsee. Water sports enthusiasts also like to come here and anglers look forward to hard bites and action-packed drills against a beautiful natural backdrop. Also visit the impressive Skywalk or the newly built spa in Willingen. In just 20 minutes by car you are in Willingen, where you will find plenty of cafes, restaurants and shopping opportunities. In winter, you can work out in the surrounding ski resorts while snowboarding, skiing and cross-country skiing and then relax in the cozy vacation home. With us you will find peace, are close to nature and yet have many opportunities to do something. Our log cabin is well equipped with a beautiful garden, conservatory and terrace. Your dog will also feel comfortable on the property of over 500 m². Have fun in Sauerland! Distances. 5 km to Lake Diemelsee, 14 km to Willingen, 14 km to Korbach and 19 km to Bad Arolsen and Lake Twiste. In the town of Adorf, 2 km away, you will find all the shops for your everyday needs as well as restaurants, banks, an ice cream parlor and a gas station. Our booking price already includes final cleaning, energy costs, bed linen, towels and drying towels. One dog is allowed to come along for €1/day. Another dog only on request. The tourist tax for the municipality of Diemelsee is to be paid to us separately. You will receive the "SauerlandCard" with many discounts on entrance fees, etc. Our small vacation home has free Wi-Fi and is a non-smoking house.
