Welcome to The Patriot Coffeehouse, your place of comfort just minutes from FLW and historic Route 66. The space Our home is in a quiet newer subdivision just off of Missouri Ave (front gate of Fort Lenaord Wood). This is an off post location but so close that you can hear the bugle calls! 4 to 7 minutes will take you to anything you would need from dining to shopping. It will be "smooth sailing" to Post and the Fort Leonard Wood front gate/Visitors Center. We are also in Pulaski County - the heart of the Ozarks - and will give you all the info needed to start your experience. Explore caves, historic 66 sites, canoe and kayaking trips, hiking and more. A nice affordable place to stop if you are heading to Lake of the Ozarks (about an hour away) or Branson (about 2 hours away). One of the wonderful features of our home over others is the calming hilly wooded view from the living room, dining room, Master bedroom and even the kitchen. Another excellent feature is that we don't just have the beds to accommodate you, but we also have enough seating in the dining room, living room and even around the fire pit. You will find both reverential military, romantic old route 66, modern farmhouse, God and country elements and bits of humor throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with what is needed to cook, bake, microwave, airfry, grill and eat! The primary suite "The Oasis" is another favorite and has special touches like dimmer lighting and soft elements with double curtains to help block out light from the oversized window display. If all that I have mentioned does not relax you, the en-suite bathroom will with the jacuzzi and jumbo shower head. The "Uncle Sam Room" has a queen size bed with closet and dresser space with an oversized window with a street and morning sunrise view. The blinds and thick curtains are there if you prefer open or closed. The bathroom with shower/bath is across the hall. The "Airborne Room" was set up with kids big and small in mind. This was named by a friend who served as a paratrooper. A ladder is on hand if needed to reach the sky high upper bunk. The 2nd bathroom is adjacent to this room. I will strive to make sure your stay is a pleasant one and have everything you need. We know that more than likely you are celebrating the graduation of your loved one and we are excited for you and your family as you experience it in a safe welcoming space. I can't forget the coffee bar! For that reason alone you can create a memorable coffee experience by adding everything from specialty syrup, cocoa, cinnamon, etc. Tea and mushroom coffee drinkers, we have not left you out. You can enjoy this as you soak in the quiet and view either inside or out at the firepit or while watch a favorite program or movie on our 60 inch big screen HD TV. Speaking of the firepit, 5 Adirondack chairs and retaining wall will seat all of you. We will try to have dry wood, charcoal, etc., and even items for s'mores for added fun! High speed internet is also ready to serve you. Parking will be a breeze and so will check in/check out. Other things to note Can't forget the super cool game table with foosball, and other games underneath the top layer. Just be gentle in taking it off and putting it back on. Other board games are available also. Since technically you are renting for just a few days, please let us know if any part of the home does not meet your expectations before leaving a review so that we have a chance to fix it. Leaving it super clean will not only win my heart but earn you a discount for a future stay. We love furry animals, but they will not be able to come. My husband will thank you since he is highly allergic with asthmatic responses.
