Outdoor enthusiasts will love the easy access to the Bainbridge trailhead of the renowned Finger Lakes Trail, less than half a mile away. Whether you’re in town for the regatta, hosting a family reunion, or simply seeking a central location with quick access to Interstate 88, this home offers an unbeatable combination of elegance, convenience, and charm. In addition to the indoor eating areas (eat-in kitchen, pub area with bar seating and table, large dining room table), there is also an outdoor deck with table and chairs complete with a gas BBQ and cooking utensils. There is off-street parking in the driveway and street parking available along the side of the house. Guest access As our guests at Bainbridge Victorian, we invite you to visit our 45 acres at Mills Farm Retreat, just 12 minutes away. It offers fabulous views, well-kept trails, open fields, and a pond, making it a popular location exclusively for our guests. Enjoy a hike, or take a picnic to a calm, romantic spot beneath a giant White Fir tree. Sit quietly to watch the squirrels, gophers, and occasional fox, who puts on display her annual playful litter while the deer and offspring reign. Closer to the pond is another table from which to watch variously colored butterflies, fish, and frogs with spawn turning to tadpoles and dragonflies mating on long strands above the water. So many birds, so little time! From the large eagles (yes, they have returned to the County!) to herons and hawks, to the tiny, such as the Virginia wrens. It’s a birder’s paradise! At Mills Farm, are a few clustered dwellings: the Farm House, Guest Quarters, Camper, an 1800’s barn, and, down the hill, a Chalet built by hand in the Swiss style with lumber from the land. We have provided parking for you and the trail head linking you to the shared trails to protect the privacy of other guests. Depending on occupancy, we would enjoy giving you a tour.
