Nestled high on the hill at Nindaroo sits this stunning property affectionately known as ‘Doug’s Place.’ Be greeted with breathtaking views over the Mackay region & ocean beyond from the moment you approach the home that get better once inside. This recently renovated & beautifully styled property is all about easy, comfortable living & can cater for the largest of groups or family gatherings. Stay here for a little while or a long while and enjoy all that this beautiful property has to offer. The space Bedroom 1 – King size bed (with own ensuite with toilet and shower facilities) Bedroom 2 – Queen size bed (serviced by main bathroom and main toilet) Bedroom 3 – King size bed (serviced by main bathroom and main toilet) Bedroom 4 – Double sofa bed (serviced by main bathroom and main toilet) Bedroom 5 – King size bed (serviced by 3rd bathroom with shower and toilet). This room also has a walk-in-robe. This room is not completely private – it has been designed as a ‘guest retreat’ and is therefore open to the hallway that leads to the walk-in-robes and 3rd bathroom. This room opens out directly onto the deck. Bedroom 6 (Upstairs) – Queen size bed (serviced by 3rd bathroom with shower and toilet). This room also has a walk-in-robe underneath. Main Bathroom – Shower over full-size bath, double vanity sinks. A separate toilet is located directly beside the main bathroom. Ensuite Bathroom - Shower, toilet and single vanity. Bathroom 3 - Large shower and vanity, toilet. Separate Laundry with a washing machine/dryer, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner and mop/bucket. The laundry opens directly onto a small deck with an undercover clothesline as well as an outdoor clothesline. This is a big home which also features multiple living areas, in-kitchen dining as well as sperate a dining area and multiple outdoor deck areas including a large deck off the main living areas with BBQ facilities and a large outdoor dining zone. What’s Provided Well, we’re travellers and parents too so to make life a little less stressful we’ve included all the basics and a few extras. Expect sumptuous towels and linens, lots of pillows, quality hair and body washes by Sukin and Glow Lab, organic cleaning products for clothes and home by Lil’Bit Better, kitchen supplies such as foils, cling wrap, baking paper, cooking oil, tea, coffee, sugar, Tasteology salt and pepper as well as an assortment of pods for the Nespresso machine to get you started. We even supply pegs for the indoor and outdoor clotheslines! A stocked First Aid Kit, torch and batteries are also provided as well as plenty of reuseable paper shopping bags for your use, hairdryers in each bathroom, cookware for the stove, oven and microwave and reusable containers for food storage. There’s a large assortments of reading books, cookbooks, board games and tennis racquets and balls also (did we mention this home also has a tennis court?!). A highchair is also available (stored in the hallway cupboard) if needed. Wi-fi is also included. Firewood for the indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit is supplied in the dedicated firewood baskets. Guest access Bookings of 3 people or less will have access to 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms only. All bookings regardless of numbers will have access to all living and outdoor spaces.
