I love the north and the beautiful things in life – and I know how important it is to be able to switch off in between. The island of Pellworm is my favorite place, and especially the house of my grandfather Kalle, which I have been renting to vacation guests since 2023. A home away from home Grandpa Kalle's house, built in 1880, means a lot to me. It is a place of my childhood, but also the place where my parents fell in love. That's why I took it over a few years ago and have been lovingly renovating it ever since – which means that it always looks a bit different on the inside. It is important to me that my guests also appreciate the cottage and treat it accordingly. To make your vacation really cozy, I put a lot of effort into furnishing it. In the house you will find furniture, decorations and small pieces of jewelry with a Scandinavian touch and loving, personal details. Pellworm, the small, green pearl in the North German Wadden Sea, has a lot to offer. Above all: peace and deceleration. Here, the vacation begins with the crossing by ferry from Nordstrand. There is also plenty of nature. And because many people on the island are on foot or by bike, you can really enjoy it, without traffic and noise. A highlight for all ages are also the peaceful Pellworm sheep, of which there are several thousand and which are responsible for landscape maintenance by grazing the dyke. Sometimes they just lie around and let the sun shine on their wool. Anyone who arrives on Pellworm after a hectic and stressful day at work will learn from these gentle contemporaries what it means to "live in the moment."
