Old renovated and fully equipped farmhouse located in the heart of the Basque Country, possibility to accommodate 6 to 7 guests. With mountain views, the house is ideal for nature lovers aspiring to tranquility and a change of scenery. A true haven of peace that is minutes from hiking trails and only 30 minutes from Saint-Jean-Pied de Port as well as Saint-Palais and Mauléon where you can stock up on food and gas. The space In one and the same house you will have the opportunity to book up to two accommodations in order to stay from 4 to 7 people: - First accommodation on several levels (2 floors + ground floor) that can accommodate 4 to 5 people with: 2 single bedrooms with a double bed for each 1 game room with the possibility of unfolding the armchair to get a single bed 1 fully equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, gas stove and electric oven) 1 living room with dining table for 5 people and TV + internet box 1 bathroom with toilet A first dressing room with washing machine A second dressing room with dryer + second toilet * Please note that the first accommodation is spread over several levels with an authentic wooden staircase (photos attached to the listing). - Second single-storey accommodation for 2 people with: 1 living room with sofa bed that turns into a double bed 1 fully equipped kitchenette with a fully equipped dining table for two (fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, small electric oven and two-burner gas hob). 1 bathroom with toilet + washing machine and dryer Both homes are equipped with many household appliances. You will also be provided with bed sheets and bath towels (one per person) upon arrival. You will have a common room that can accommodate the seven people to eat around one and the same table at the back of the house so that you can share a friendly and authentic moment all together! You will also have a wood-burning stove with free wood provided. The house has a terrace with stunning views of the mountains. You will have access to a dining table, umbrella and barbecue (charcoal provided)! Whether you're looking for an outdoor breakfast, an aperitif with friends or a nice barbecue evening, you'll have the view of the valley for you! The house therefore has no neighbors, except on the surrounding mountains and fields, guaranteeing you tranquility and privacy. Birds including jays and green woodpeckers will be part of the experience! Regarding the surrounding activities, you will have various possibilities for hiking and activities from the house: - Pic du Belchou (1,130 m) - Behorleguy Peak (1,200 m) - Okabe Peak (1,450 m) - Baigura Leisure Center 40 mins away with the little train, restaurant and children's games - Iraty Forest 45 mins - Col d'Oscquish with restaurant 15 mins away - The local producer of Cidre Basque Bio EZTIGAR in Saint-Just-Ibarre only 10 mins away - The towns of Saint-Jean-Pied de Port, Saint-Palais and Mauléon-Licharre 30 minutes from the house. Farmers' markets and shops await! - Possible route to the Basque coast: Saint-Jean-Pied de Port > Espelette > Lake Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle > Saint Jean de Luz > Biarritz We kindly ask that you take into account during your stay: - the presence of sheep in the fields surrounding the house as well as a pastoral area with free animals much higher up (cows, horses and sheep). On a walk, you will be asked to stay within a safety perimeter so as not to scare the animals and thus disrupt pastoral life. - pets, due to the proximity of the house to pastoral life, will not be allowed. - We ask that guests return the accommodation clean, in the same state that they found it.
