We have spent the better part of the past 4 years restoring and upgrading our historic 1924 home and lake front property. Our goal was to breathe new life into this historic beauty, while preserving the 1920's charm and adding every modern convenience. Please note that this property is our personal residence, and we kindly ask that you treat it with the same care and respect you would your own. We've put a lot of love into creating a warm, comfortable space, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We are only offering Pappy House for rent during a few select weeks each summer, so availability is very limited. Please reach out if you have dates that are not available on the calendar. We may be able to move some things around and accommodate your request! General Items to note: We do have two dogs of our own, though they will not be present during your visit. While we take great care to ensure the home is sparkling clean for each guest, an occasional stray dog hair may be seen despite our best efforts. For that reason, we do not recommend booking our home if you are allergic to dogs or feel that the presence of a stray dog hair would negatively impact your experience. We also do not allow pets of any kind. We steam clean all hard surfaces prior to your stay and will have the furniture professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. We launder ALL bedding before your arrival and maintain an entirely separate set of laundered bedding for each bedroom. This bedding has never been in contact with our pets. Additionally, due to the home’s proximity to the lake, we do occasionally have a few insects despite regular pest control efforts. This is a natural part of the environment, and we just ask that you be aware. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep our home a special place!
