At Mizen Head (5.5 miles), visit the Irish Lights Signal Station and cross the impressive arched bridge, looking out for seals, whales, dolphins, kittiwakes, gannets and choughs. Or, for a change, head to the picturesque harbour town of Bantry, 20.5 miles away, for an array of shops and great places to eat and drink.
