We also have a pullout couch with a full-size mattress, providing an additional sleeping option for those who don't want to climb stairs. The full kitchen is equipped with brand-new appliances, making it easy to prepare meals after a day of exploring. Our cottage bathroom features a tiled, stand-up shower with heated floors. If you want screen time after a busy day, unwind with a movie on the large TV with numerous streaming options and fast Wi-Fi (1 MB up/down) if you need to connect. Outdoor enthusiasts will love our location, with world-class mountain biking trails starting right at the door and several premier networks within a 30-minute drive. Located right on the Little River, it allows for year-round trout fishing (VT fishing license needed), and private swimming holes steps away. For lake days, the Waterbury Reservoir is just 2.5 miles down Little River Road, offering swimming, boating, and beautiful spots to relax by the water. Hungry? Little River Guest House is a separate standing guest house on the same property where the owners live who may or may not be around. Rest assured there is plenty of privacy for all involved. Road access to River, lake, Mountain Biking, hiking and camping. Other things to note We have a well-behaved, friendly dog who lives on our property. He spends most of his time swimming in the river, gardening with Alison, and walking the VAST trails. Our property is fenced in next to the cottage, so guests do not have to interact with him, but he is present if we are here. If you don't like dogs, this property might not be a good fit for you.
