Apartment "Family & Friends" on the farm - Obernjesa

Lovingly & comfortably furnished apartment in a rural location with great transport links to Kassel, Göttingen & Hanover. The A7, A38 and B27 are each only 5 minutes away. Göttingen city center & the train station can be reached in a quarter of an hour. Cyclists get their money's worth on the Leine-Heide cycle path, as it leads right past our front door. We are a seven-member patchwork family with some cattle, live & work on our farm & look forward to seeing you soon! The space The apartment, completely renovated in 2016 and comfortably furnished, is located in the small village of Obernjesa, about 10 km away from Göttingen. The top-equipped accommodation on the first floor offers on approx. 65 square meters a bedroom with double bed, a living room with full sofa bed - individually extendable for one or two people, a modern bathroom (the highlight - an integrated radio ;-) ), as well as a fully equipped kitchen, in which there is always coffee and a small selection of tea (both included) and cold drinks (for a small fee). If my hens are laying diligently, there are also breakfast eggs as a small greeting from the house. We look forward to welcoming business travelers, vacationers, solo travelers, couples and families with children. By arrangement, our washing machine and dryer can be used in the laundry room. We are also happy to lend our bikes for tours in the surrounding area. In addition, in good weather, our front garden with sunny spots and a grill can be used. Parking is ample and bicycles brought along also find a safe haven. Guest access In summer, our small front garden invites you to end the day with a glass of wine or beer. Take a seat in our beach chair and enjoy the evening sun. We are also happy to provide our gas grill, so nothing stands in the way of a delicious barbecue evening. Our little guests are certainly curious about our animals. They are welcome to accompany us to the chickens, feed them and collect the eggs. Our ponies Paul and Ivan look forward to petting units or a delicious carrot, the guinea pigs look forward to fishing dandelions and our terriers Eddie and Koko to persistent toy throwers. Our mini pigs Rosi and Tobi are particularly cute. A large trampoline can be used under parental supervision, but also some toys such as balls, badminton sets, crayons, board games, books for all ages, children's toys and a really cool kettle car (also suitable for adults ;-) ). Other things to note Since we have a farm, depending on the season, a more or less colorful hustle and bustle can be observed from the apartment on our farm. In summer and early autumn, it is high season and thus the days are quite long. So sometimes at unsociable times, one or the other tractor with trailer, heavy machinery or even the combine harvester rumbles across the yard ;-)! There are also other days throughout the year that start very early and/or end late. Perhaps this gives some people an interesting insight into our profession or everyday life. What we unfortunately can never stop or change is the location of our farm on a main freight line of the Deutsche Bahn :-( ! The rest of the farm offers good noise protection for the apartment, but if you are used to sleeping at night with the window open and in absolute silence, you may not find peace with us ;-)!
