The cabin is Idyllically located on Gjermesøy, outside Ballstad, which is an active fishing village today. Completed in 2018, modern, high standard and plenty of room. Nearby, there are many great hiking areas. Possibility of bike tours, excursions with local fishing boat, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Kayak tours, Restaurants, Pub etc. The place is in the middle of Lofoten with 1 hour drive to Å in the west and Svolvær in the east. Shopping area Leknes and Leknes Airport are approximately 15 minutes away. Rorbu has stunning views of Lofotveggen, Mosken and Værøy The space Welcoming and cozy rorbu, with stylish décor, underfloor heating, safe deposit box, 1 bedroom on the 1st floor, 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, stairs, fridge with small freezer, dishwasher. Large terrace right on the shore of the shore of the Quiet neighborhood with a fantastic view. This is where everyone will enjoy themselves. Although the place is in the middle of an old fishing village, the rorbu is not designed for fishing trips. There are no necessary facilities for the looping of fish, handling fishing waste or freezer for storing fish. But there can be rented a boat nearby which can be used for excursions. Other things to note Nearby: Viking Museum at Borg, Unstad Surfing, Gimsøy Golf, Fiskevær Henningsvær and Stamsund where Hurtigruten adds, Klatrekafe in Henningsvær, Glasshytte on Vikten, Smith in Sund, Hauklandstrand, Utakleiv, Magic Ice in Svolvær, Sakrisøy with Anita's sea food, many hiking trails, rafting, paddle, paddle, Lof FOOD studio which also holds a chef's course, Nusfjord, Reine. The views from the house are spectacular. Plenty of adventures nearby if you want to stay local. Conveniently located if you want to explore the rest of Lofoten. The brave among us snorkeled right outside the house. In Ballstad you can rent kayaks or a motorboat to explore all the little islands. The house is a 5 minute drive to Lofoten Diving (and snorkeling). If you prefer land activities the hike right across the inlet has spectacular views. The little trails behind the house are also fun. This location and the house have it all.
