Gapperies, West Porlock is a spacious, recently refurbished holiday home sleeping up to 6 guests across three bedrooms. There are two king-sized double bedrooms sharing a large shower room, plus one twin bedroom with its own en-suite shower room (please note there is no bath at the property). The space Everything is arranged on one level with ramp access to the main door, and one of the king-sized beds has been raised to make the most of the wonderful views across Porlock Marsh, the coast and up Porlock Vale. The heart of the home is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a feature wood-burner, comfortable sofas, an armchair and a dining table seating 6. The kitchen is well equipped with new appliances including a large fridge-freezer, electric oven, hob and microwave. A television with Freesat and an Amazon Firestick is provided, along with a Bluetooth speaker. Wifi, heating (via efficient infrared panels) and electricity are all included, and a basket of logs is provided for the wood-burner in cooler months. Bed linen and towels are supplied. Outside, a gated drive leads up to the property, which sits in a private, slightly elevated position with parking for up to 3 cars. There is a patio area to the side with conversation chairs, a bowl firepit and swing-arm BBQ grill, perfect for enjoying the sunshine and views. The rest of the garden is a work in progress, with no lawn, and a gardener works on site most Wednesdays. Dogs are welcome (maximum of 3) for a supplement of GBP 20 per dog; cats are also welcome. Please note the garden isn't fully enclosed, though a driveway gate prevents easy access to the road. The property is suitable for those with restricted mobility, with level access from parking to the front door via a ramp, though the main bathroom corridor may be tight and the raised bed is not ideal for chair-to-bed transfers; it is not classed as wheelchair accessible.
