Welcome to Casa Monteverde! This typical Lombard house is located in Livo – a picturesque mountain village, rich in history and tradition – above Gravedona ed Uniti, in the upper Lake Como. Located on the edge of the quiet village and surrounded by meadows, it offers a beautiful view of the verdant Sasso Pelo. Casa Monteverde is ideal for hiking lovers – a place that combines nature and relaxation, perfect for regenerating. The space Casa Monteverde is a private vacation home, furnished in a simple and functional way, offering its guests a welcoming and familiar atmosphere. The house can accommodate up to four people and is spread over three levels, connected by an internal staircase with a total of 24 steps. • Ground floor: bathroom with bathtub and shower, sink, toilet and bidet, safe, large closet and access to the terrace and garden, overlooking the meadows and the imposing Sasso Pelo. • First floor: open plan living area with dining table, TV, fireplace and a small reading nook, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, oven, dishwasher, French press, classic mocha, microwave and toaster. • Upstairs: one double bedroom with a bed (160 × 200 cm), a second bedroom with two single beds (90 × 200 cm) and a toddler bed, plus a small bathroom with sink and small toilet. Outdoor spaces: The large land belonging to Casa Monteverde is equipped with seating and a barbecue, ideal for relaxing outdoors. In the quiet evening hours, you can often spot curious deer or foxes approaching the house. • Please note that the land is only partially fenced. • Our private parking is available to guests. It is highly recommended to go down the access road in reverse, as manoeuvring near the house is difficult. Alternatively, the car can be parked before the narrow curve. • Bedding and towels are included in the price. Guest access Our guests have unlimited access to the entire house and can also take advantage of the surrounding land. Other things to note Please note: *** In cooler periods the house is heated exclusively with the wood-burning fireplace. We kindly ask you to keep in mind that the fireplace must be used and cleaned by yourself. *** • Our home is automatically classified by Airbnb in the “near the lake” category. For completeness, we kindly specify that Livo is above the lake and that the journey to the shore can take up to 15 minutes. • If Airbnb shows you “Carate Urio, 22010”, please ignore it. Our Casa Alba is not located in Carate, but in Livo, above Gravedona and Unidos. Like many homes in Livo, the house has no street number, so it's essential to accurately follow the arrival directions in our guest guide. • During the cooler season or if needed, the house can be heated with a wood-burning fireplace located in the living room. Wood is provided upon request. • We kindly remind you that this is a self-catering accommodation. For a good start, upon arrival you will find a small welcome kit (for example toilet paper, hand soap, garbage bags, dish soap); shampoo and shower gel are not provided. During the stay, no replenishment is provided: the basics, as is customary in private vacation homes and unlike hotels, are eventually purchased by guests. Livo is a small mountain village with no supermarkets and limited bus service. Although it is possible to reach Livo with the C18 line, the routes are very limited: during the day some routes are only available by reservation through "ASF Flex", and there are no routes in the evening or on Sundays and holidays. For a comfortable stay, we highly recommend arriving with your own car or rental car. We also recommend, if possible, that you arrive in daylight. • Pets are only allowed upon request (€35 per stay). Out of respect for the accommodation, we kindly ask you to bring your own blankets, towels and bowls for your pet. Thank you very much. • Casa Monteverde is unfortunately not suitable for allergic people. • Unlisted guests are not allowed, such as friends or family, or parties on the property.
