Place and location of the accommodation Many beautiful hiking and cycling paths, which we also like to prefer, offer opportunities from here to explore the Mecklenburg area on the long-distance cycle paths along the Lewitz or to explore the Schwerin outer and inner lakes “the blue eight”. The city center invites you to linger with its cafés, restaurants and shopping opportunities and is easily accessible by bike, public transport or car. Bus and train stops are just a few minutes' walk from our holiday apartment. Discover the historic old town on a city tour in a double-decker convertible bus or a boat tour on the excursion steamer on Lake Schwerin. Learn interesting facts about horticultural art and artists from the Baroque to the present on a guided tour through the gardens of Schwerin Castle. The Kaspelwerder leisure facility on Lake Ostorfer, with its swimming area just 700m away, is a nearby excursion destination for activities in and on the water. The climbing forest and Schwerin Zoo are other popular adventure spots in the area. The good transport connections allow not only a city trip to Hamburg, Lübeck, Rostock (100km) or Wismar (40km) but also a trip to the beautiful Baltic Sea coast.
