Description
Tucked into the heart of Bayfield, Wisconsin, Great Water Inn is an easy walk to restaurants, shops, hiking, beaches, and the ferry. Rent by the room or book the entire inn for groups of up to fifteen. We have two suites with a large whirlpool tub (Raspberry and Siskiwit), one dog-friendly suite with a private sauna (Houghton), and one apartment with a full kitchen, living room, and balcony with views of the lake (Gitchigami). A cozy homebase for your northern Wisconsin adventure! The space Our "basecamp" option gives guests access to the entire Inn, including three private suites and one two-bedroom apartment with an eat-in kitchen and living room. Three of the rooms have queen beds (Raspberry, Siskiwit and Houghton) and ensuite baths. The upstairs apartment (Gichigami) has one queen, one full, one twin bunk with a trundle, and one pull-out couch. The apartment is also equipped with a full kitchen that opens up to a small living space with a giant TV and a coffee table full of board games. Guests will also have full access to the front porch, the back decks off the Houghton room, and the balcony deck off the Gichigami kitchen. Both decks are equipped with patio furniture for outdoor dining. The Gichigami apartment has a lovely view of the lake, seen mainly from the kitchen and the balcony. All of our rooms feature hand-made pottery, our favorite lake-themed titles to read, and oodles of work from local artists and makers with powerful stories behind them. Despite being right in town, the northern nights are surprisingly cozy and quiet at the inn. We look forward to welcoming your group to the big lake! Guest access Each private room has a personal keyless entry. Other things to note Three private parking spots in back (alley access), street parking in front.
