Nestled in stunning Strathtay, Aros Cottage (upper) sits within the grounds of a Victorian rectory. Renovated in 2022, the bijou cottage combines characterful features with home comforts to provide the perfect cosy base for your Perthshire adventures. Situated next to the Rob Roy Way, the River Tay and the National Cycle Route, Aros Cottage is an ideal location. Two highly acclaimed restaurants are within a 4 minute walk. A grocery store and post office are also 1 minute away. STL PK12861F The space Aros Cottage comprises 2 small bedrooms with double beds, an open plan kitchen/dining/living space and a shower room. It is fully self contained on the upper floor of a converted Victorian Butler's Cottage and Potting Shed. Please note, there is no additional space in the bedrooms for travel cots or cribs. Total floor area is 45 sqm. Please note that our sister property, Aros Bothy, is situated on the ground floor of the same converted building. We have invested in quality soundproofing and we hope this minimises any disturbance, but please be aware this is a historic building. We appreciate consideration of other guests who may be staying at Aros. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen. High quality linen and towels are supplied as well as essentials such as toilet paper, hand soap, cleaning materials and condiments. Outside space comprises bench seating, and dining table/chairs for 4. A bbq is available on request. Guests are welcome to explore the garden area to the east of the cottage, and will find an elevated hut for sundowners and stargazing, complete with fire pit. We supply some logs for your first night but more can be purchased from the local shop. Guest access The cottage is on the upper floor of a converted Victorian Butler's Cottage and Potting Shed. Guests have access to part of the 2 acre garden, including a private outdoor dining space directly behind the cottage. Other things to note There are two small dogs who live at the main house.
