Welcome to our family’s Lake Buchanan waterfront cottage in a small, safe and secluded neighborhood at the end of the road. If you’re looking for quietness, serenity and relaxation, this is the place. 1.5 hour drive from central Austin. Walk right into the water from the back yard - bring your kayaks! Sit on the porch and watch the wildlife - bring your camera. Neighborhood is great for walking or cycling. Since 1972, family memories have been made here. If you are uncomfortable getting in or out of a claw foot tub, or having someone help you get in or out, please do not book our place. A grab bar and non-slip rug are provided. There is no lifeguard or life vests available. Guests should bring their own life vests. Swim at your own risk. This is a natural environment and some things that might be encountered are turtles, snakes, fishing lures, and other underwater hazards. Water shoes are highly recommended.
