Located just a 20-min drive from Bundaberg city centre and only 10-mins from the airport, Stillwater On The Lake offers the tranquillity of the ultimate lakeside retreat while still being close to many local attractions and stunning beaches. The space The house is beautifully designed with an open living and kitchen area which allows guests to cook, eat and relax together. With the option to dine inside or outside on the wrap around veranda where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding nature. Both bedrooms feature comfortable beds with soft linens, offering idyllic views of the lake. The master bedroom features a sun room with sliding doors, which can be closed to create a private third sleeping space with a plush pull out sofa bed- making it perfect for families or additional guests. The bathroom offers a huge open rainfall shower, along with a deep stand alone bath- perfect for sliding into after a long day of exploring the local sights. The house also features a separate toilet and well- equipped laundry room for added convenience during your stay. Stepping outside you'll have direct access to the lake. Be sure to catch the sunset over the water which creates a magical mirror-like reflection. Our fire pit is the perfect place to lounge around and read with your morning coffee or to cosy up to in the cooler evenings where you can sit back and star gaze. Please note both the fire pit and the lake area are shared spaces, as there is another short-term rental on the property—The Church On The Lake, which sleeps two guests and is located to the right when facing the lake. We kindly ask that you be considerate of other guests who may be staying at the same time and share these facilities respectfully. The driveway is also used by other guests staying on the land so you may see passing vehicles from time to time. Other things to note Please enjoy the fire pit with care. Feel free to use the wood provided. Please be very mindful that the surrounding bush can become very dry in the QLD heat. At times there will be a fire ban to avoid a bushfire breakout. We are a pet friendly property and allow one pet only to accompany you on your stay. We do ask that all pets, no matter what size are kept off of the furniture and out of the beds. We have an additional cleaning fee of $200 should the above not be adhered to.
