Welcome to Monty House, on the ground floor you'll find the south facing living room at the front of the property with large bay windows bathing the room in light, complete with original fireplace. To the rear of the house there is a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area, as well as a raised family snug. This room is complete with a games console and cupboard, which is sure to delight younger family members. The bespoke made to measure dining table is perfect for family meals, as well as games nights. There is also a ground floor shower room – perfect for rinsing off after a sandy day at the beach. There is a rear enclosed garden prefect for summer evening drinks and with the added bonus of lockable outdoor storage. Upstairs you have three bedrooms, each with its own character and a playful use of colour. There is a master king bedroom, which is wonderful, spacious and light. This room has the addition of a sofa for a quiet cup of tea. The second bedroom is equipped with a versatile zip and link twin, which can be made up as a super king for couples on request. Our third bedroom is a triple bunk room. The house bathroom is on this floor, there is nothing like a long bubbly soak with a good book and a glass of something special after a busy day exploring. Monty House is a great size for families, as well as friends travelling together. Situated just a 11 minute walk from the cliff top, with the tram or the footpath leading you down to the beach below, you are perfectly positioned to enjoy a stay on the glorious coastline, with nearby Staithes, Runswick Bay and Whitby all within easy reach. In Saltburn the beach is one of our main attraction, with the glorious long sand stretching for miles. We have a surf school, as well as paddleboard hire, and beach saunas all year round. Take a wander down to the pier or watch from the comfort of one of the seafront restaurants or bars. For keen walkers, or even those who just enjoy coastal panoramas, the Cleveland Way is a gorgeous scenic trail along the clifftops, connecting Saltburn to the neighbouring coastal towns and villages, including Runswick Bay, Staithes, Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay. It stretches for miles, so it may be worth doing smaller sections so you can enjoy the many highlights. You also have the vast North York Moors National Park to explore, including Roseberry.
