World famous Sea Lion caves are also just north of Florence along with the beautiful Heceta Head Lighthouse. You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The 
coastal forests flourishing in Douglas Fir and Sitka Spruce extend to the Ocean.
