Welcome to Our Little Homestay in the Heart of Thirthahalli ! Hi, I’m Gautam, and along with my wife Bindu, we have been running this homestay since 2003. We temporarily ran our homestay on Airbnb and are now back after some renovations. Our home is a 70-year-old house, filled with warmth and memories, and we love sharing it with travelers looking for a cozy and peaceful stay. Our homestay is centrally located in Thirthahalli, making it easy to access everything the town has to offer. The space Rooms & Pricing: We have three rooms available, all with attached bathrooms, AC and access to a shared patio: - Room No. 1 – 270 sq. ft. | INR 2500 per night for 2 adults (Extra person: INR 500) - Room No. 2 – 330 sq. ft. | INR 2500 per night for 2 adults (Extra person: INR 500) - Room No. 3 – 105 sq. ft. | INR 1500 per night (Only for 2 adults, no extra bed) - Kids below 10 stay for free - Please note that the homestay is on the first floor and there is no lift. Inclusions - Free WiFi - Free parking - Fresh linen & drinking water - Extra beds available (except for Room No. 3) - CCTV security – Safe for solo travelers - Ideal for big groups & families Meals: - Breakfast is available at an extra cost but needs to be requested well in advance due to staff availability. - Takeaway options are allowed if you prefer to bring your own food. - Most restaurants in Thirthahalli offer food delivery, so you have plenty of dining options. We’ll be happy to suggest restaurants based on your preferences. House Rules : - Our homestay is in a residential area, so please keep noise levels low after 10 PM. - No pets allowed. - No hanging clothes on the railings. Other things to note Things to Do Around Thirthahalli - Tunga River and Tunga Bridge (1.5 km) – Enjoy a peaceful riverside walk. - Rameshwara Temple (1.5 km) – A sacred temple on the banks of the Tunga. - Kavaledurga Fort (22 km) – A scenic trek to historic ruins. (Personal favourite) -Agumbe Rainforest & Sunset Viewpoint (30 km) – Experience breathtaking sunsets and explore the lush rainforest, home to diverse wildlife and waterfalls. The sunset is a must-see! - Kuppalli (16 km) – The birthplace of the legendary poet Kuvempu. - Kodachadri (58 km) – A mesmerizing trek through the Western Ghats. - Jog Falls (105 km) – One of the highest waterfalls in India. - Chiblududde (11 km) – A lesser-known but beautiful natural spot. - Achakanya Falls (22 km) – A serene waterfall surrounded by greenery. - Thalasi Abbi Falls (27 km) – A picturesque waterfall ideal for nature lovers.
